Producer: Jedediah has experience with all kinds of production-related management tasks including overseeing the entire Script-to-Screen™ process. This includes everything from taking an idea and running a room filled with writers to juggle the concepts and characters into a fully flushed script, to the ins-and-outs of planning production. Everything is included from scheduling, budgeting, picking out and reserving locations, working with a crew to follow color schemes and mood boards, casting (including auditions and selection of core cast), wardrobe, set design (including contracting out for set pieces and purchases), makeup and hair, lighting and power distribution, working with compositors and visual artists to determine special effects and practical effects, sound for film sets, using Cinematography to determine the appropriate lenses, cameras, formatting ratios, recording media and timecode sync of the film and rental of film equipment and contracting a film crew is all part of this necessary and fun process to make a movie come to life!
After the film is shot, the next step is to manage the workflow of post-production. Under guidance from Randy Thom of Skywalker Sound, Jim Bolt at Disney Studios, and Jesse Negron (TV director and producer) Jedediah has learned and applied the art of post-production management from overseeing editing and color correction to sound (including design, editing and foley), ADR, final mix for Atmos/5.1/stereo, music scoring (including live recording if applicable), video editing, compositing, special effects, and final distribution formatting and release to theatrical or digital deliverables.
There's a saying in film... "it takes a village" and while that's absolutely true, the village needs leaders to be efficient and effective!
Jedediah is currently training with a top manger of successful companies including Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and California Pizza Kitchen to apply management skills and training to the entertainment industry.
